National Courses:

Air Cadet National Courses are the top summer courses offered by the program.  They include International Exchange (IACE), Power Pilot Scholarship (PPS), Glider Pilot Scholarship (GPS), Aircraft Maintenance (AM), Airport Operations (AO) and Advanced Aerospace(AASC).  These courses are limited by a squadron quota and squadrons are allowed to only send a limited number of cadet candidates to apply for these courses.

To determine the best candidates within the squadron, all 150 Hamilton Tiger Squadron cadets will be required to undergo an internal application process this year.  Called "Stage 1: Internal Selection", this internal application process will be used to determine the most deserving cadet and also prepare them for the National Selection Process (referred to our squadron as "Stage 2: National Selection").  Details such as the Stage 1 Scoring Matrix to determine our candidates for Stage 2 can be found in the "150 Hamilton Tiger Squadron: National Course Outline 2017-2018" and resembles the national scoring standards whenever possible.

National Course Applicants are asked to review the following documents for their Stage 1 and Stage 2 Applications.  Cadets with any questions about ANY course applications are to talk to OCdt Wong as soon as possible.
